Description
The CD-03 is the stereo cassette deck of the Disco 2202 stereo music system, made by Tehnoton in Iași [1].
The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) describes the „CD-03” („Casetofon deck stereo”, stereo cassette deck) as part of the 2202 „DISCO” stereo music system of Întreprinderea Tehnoton, Iași, among the mono and stereo (hi-fi) audio equipment made in Romania [1]. It gives a playback band of 40–12,500 Hz (CrO₂ tape), a tape speed of 4.76 cm/s (Compact Cassettes), a speed deviation of at most ±2 % and a speed fluctuation of at most ±0.25 %, a dynamic range of at least 33 dB without DNL and at least 48 dB with DNL, recording inputs for a microphone (0.2 mV / 1.8 kΩ), a radio (0.1 mV / 1.8 kΩ) and a pick-up (100 mV / 1 MΩ), an output of at least 500 mV, a 220 V, 50 Hz supply, at most 30 VA, 13 × 44 × 29 cm and 7 kg [1].
