Description
The 4DZ10…4DZ180 is a series of 4 W Zener diodes made in Romania by IPRS Băneasa, listed in the Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) with nominal Zener voltages of 10–180 V and a power dissipation of 4 W, in a DO-4 (F9-M) package [1]. Its codes are in the Variants table; the package drawing is in the Gallery.
The codes are printed „4 DZ 10” … „4 DZ 180”. The table gives the Zener voltage VZT (minimum, nominal, maximum), the test current IZT, the differential resistance rZM, the temperature coefficient αVZ and the maximum Zener current IZM [1].
The package drawing also marks the terminals for codes with R: the stud is marked „C / A” and the lead „A (cod fără R) / C (cod cu R)”, i.e. the stud is the cathode for the codes without R and the anode for the codes with R, although the table lists no codes with R [1].
Coded as (IPRS Băneasa code for Zener diodes of 1 W and more, NTR 19036-80) [2]:
| Part | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 4 | dissipated power PR in W (the coding table lists 1, 4, 10 and 20 W) |
| DZ | function: Zener diode |
| 10 … 180 | nominal stabilization voltage VZT in V (standardized values) |
