The I.P.R.S. Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) lists the 54LS161 and 74LS161 (both marked as preliminary data), as synchronous 4-bit counters (binary, direct clear) in an MP-117 package [1]. By the catalog’s table of families, the 74LS161 works at 0…+70 °C from a 4.75…5.25 V supply, and the 54LS161 at −55…+125 °C from 4.50…5.50 V [2].
