The 74LS55 is a TTL-LS digital integrated circuit of the 54/74LS series of IPRS Băneasa: 2-wide 4-input AND-OR-INVERT gates [1].

Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) lists the 54LS55 (marked as preliminary data) and the 74LS55, as 2-wide 4-input AND-OR-INVERT gates in a TO-116 package, with the logic function Y = ¬(A·B·C·D + E·F·G·H) [1].
