Description

The CDB472E is a TTL logic integrated circuit, a JK master-slave flip-flop, listed in the Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) among the integrated circuits made in Romania by IPRS Băneasa, in a TO-116 package [1]. Its codes (CDB472E and CDB472EM) are in the Variants table; the pinout is in the Gallery.

Coded as (IPRS Băneasa code for logic integrated circuits) [2]:

Part Meaning
CDB characteristic prefix of IPRS Băneasa for logic integrated circuits
472 serial number of the circuit (2–4 digits)
E package: E = dual-in-line (plastic DIL)
–, M operating temperature range: – = 0…+70 °C, M = −55…+125 °C

The logic integrated circuits of IPRS Băneasa (generally TTL) are always made in the E version (TO-116 package), some also in the P version (TO-85 package) [2].

The I.P.R.S. Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) lists the CDB472E and CDB472EM as AND-gated J-K master-slave flip-flops with preset and clear in a TO-116 package [3]. By the catalog’s table of families, the CDB472E works at 0…+70 °C from a 4.75…5.25 V supply, and the CDB472EM at −55…+125 °C from 4.50…5.50 V [4].

The catalog gives the gating of the inputs as J = J1·J2·J3 and K = K1·K2·K3, with the function table (in the Gallery) [3].
