Screen printing marking machine

The screen printing marking machine marks the plastic sleeve of aluminium can capacitors by the screen printing method; it was made by IPRS Băneasa [1].

The I.P.R.S. Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) describes it as a frame carrying an unwinding system for the plastic sleeve coil, a sleeve positioning system, a screen printing system (screen holder and squeegee marker), and a dryer and winding system [1]. It can be operated both manually and automatically, in the sequence: lowering the screen holder, screen printing, setting up the screen holder, and shifting the plastic sleeve together with the winding system [1].

The catalog gives dimensions of 1700 × 800 × 1300 mm, a weight of 87 kg, a power supply of 0.3 kW, an air supply of 22 l/min, an output of 10 s per cycle and a marking length of 325 mm per cycle [1].
