Description
The X-Y-Z micrometric tool is a tool for the precision positioning of current / voltage measuring heads, made by IPRS Băneasa [1].
The I.P.R.S. Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) explains that the measuring head is mounted on an insulated body and can be moved independently up to 30 mm along the three axes (X, Y, Z), by a mechanical system located inside the body; the tool can be fixed magnetically on the metal plate of any measuring system [1]. The catalog gives dimensions of 175 × 80 × 55 mm, a weight of 0.15 kg and a settling precision of 0.25 mm per turn of the micrometer screw [1]. Its drawing, with the mechanical head, base plate, positioning system and X, Y and Z set screws numbered, is in the Gallery [1].
