Description

The E 01 is a stereo radio-cassette recorder made by Electronica in Bucharest [1].

The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) lists the „E 01” („Radiocasetofon stereo”, stereo radio-cassette recorder, made by Întreprinderea Electronica, Bucharest) among the mono and stereo (hi-fi) audio equipment made in Romania [1]. It gives the wavebands LW (150–260 kHz), MW (525–1605 kHz), SW (5.95–14 MHz) and FM (65–73 MHz), an FM sensitivity of 10 µV, a cassette playback band of 125–10,000 Hz (CrO₂ tape), a maximum sine-wave output of 2 × 2.5 W from 220 V or 2 × 3.5 W from 12 V DC, a 220 V, 50 Hz or 12 V DC supply (eight R-20 batteries) and 34 × 46 × 15 cm (height × width × depth) [1].
