Description
The EXRAD-2001 is a large automatic radar data extractor designed and made at SC SYSCOM 18 SA in Bucharest, mainly by two specialists who came from the army research agency ACTTM [1]. The book’s photograph shows one installed in the indicator cabin of a Soviet P-37 radar [1]. Automatic extractors were how the Soviet P-18, P-37 and OBORONA-14 radars still in service were modernised to work with the digital air surveillance systems [1].
