Description
The R 8045 is a duplex repeater for radiotelephone networks, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1].
The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) lists the „R-8045” („Retranslator duplex”, duplex repeater) among the fixed radiotelephones made by IEMI in Bucharest; its values are in the specifications [1]. Notes say that it retransmits one channel, using four frequencies, in duplex, and that the maximum spread between its two transmitting and two receiving frequencies is 200 kHz, with at least 4.5 MHz between the transmitting and the receiving frequencies – the „(4500)” printed under the 200 in the table, in kHz [1].
It contains two transceiver units working in duplex, each with its own duplexer, and an interconnection unit; its accessories are a power unit and an antenna [1].
