βE555

The βE555 is a linear integrated circuit for communications made by IPRS Băneasa, which the section on integrated circuits gives as its example of a PLL circuit, among the standard families for industrial applications, with the βA723 stabiliser [1]. The production programme of December 1978 names the βE565 as IPRS’s PLL circuit [1]. A Beta magazine article presented the βE 555 linear integrated circuit [1].
