Description

The CDB430E is a TTL digital integrated circuit of the CDB series (Circuit Digital Bipolar) of IPRS Băneasa, equivalent to the Texas Instruments 74 series and obtained through the Thomson-CSF licence: planar-epitaxial 5 V technology, in 14-pin (TO-116) or 16-pin (MP117) plastic DIL cases and 14-pin (TO-85) flat packs [1]. The book names it among the licensed digital circuits (CDB400E, CDB451E, CDB440E, CDB430E, CDB400HE) [1]. Integrated circuit production in Romania began with the licence bought from Thomson-CSF, negotiated at the level of heads of state during the visit of the French president Charles de Gaulle in May 1968 [1]. Production began with TTL circuits for computers, the first ten types going to ICE Felix in 1972; fast TTL-H circuits followed in 1973 and were replaced after 1985 by TTL-Schottky circuits [1].
