Description
The BX052Y is a silicon BARITT microwave diode of IPRS Băneasa [1]. IPRS made its first silicon BARITT microwave diode in 1984: it generated 1–30 mW in the X band at supply voltages of 30–70 V and was much less noisy than the IMPATT diode, with uses in low-noise oscillators and low-noise small-signal input amplifiers [1]. A 1988 Beta article presents the BARITT diodes of types BX011Y, BX012Y, BX051Y, BX052Y, BX101Y and BX102 [1].
