Description
The RBR(H) 1-6050 and RBR(H) 2-6100 are wire-wound power resistors on a tube with three lugs, made to NTR-E 1377-80, from 1 Ω to 1 kΩ, rated 50 W and 100 W at 70 °C, for the electronic equipment of locomotives, machine tools and others [1]. The maximum surface temperature is 350 °C [1].
The Agenda radioelectronistului names IPEE Electro-Argeș of Curtea de Argeș as the producer of all the resistors in its section on resistors made in Romania [2]. Un secol de electronică în România says that the works, founded in 1972 as ICEP, took over the resistor lines that IPRS Băneasa made under a Thomson-CSF licence: the carbon resistors in 1973 and the wire-wound resistors in 1974 [4].
The code list gives RBR as an adjustable wire-wound power resistor; it does not explain (H) or the rest of the code [2]. The heading prints the second series as „RBR(II) 2-6100” and the text as „RBR-1-6050” and „RBR 2-6100” [1]. The series is not in the 1st edition (1983) [3].
Rated power at 70 °C. Dimensions in mm (fig. 16.21): tube 120 ± 2 long and Ø 30 ± 1, bore Ø 20 ± 1, outer lugs 70 apart, end view at most 33 wide [1].
