Description
The TG-1100 is a series of general-use NTC thermistors in the form of lacquered discs („lăcuite”), made to STAS 9486-78 [1]. The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) gives six types, from 10 to 510 Ω at 25 °C, with a resistance tolerance of ±20 % or ±10 %, a dissipation factor of 8…14 mW/°C and climatic category 10/085/04; each type is marked with a coloured band [1].
The Agenda radioelectronistului names IPEE Electro-Argeș of Curtea de Argeș as the producer of the thermistors in its section on thermistors made in Romania, in both editions [3][4]. Un secol de electronică în România says that IPEE Curtea de Argeș was set up in 1973 by moving the lines of „chemical” resistors („rezistențe chimice”), ceramic capacitors and thermistors from IPRS Băneasa, and that the works’ resistor catalogue (in English) covered 16 families of resistors, among them varistors and thermistors [5].
The drawing (fig. 18.3) shows where the marking is on the disc and gives leads of Ø 0.6 mm, at least 45 mm long [1]. The 1st edition (1983) has the same six types with the same values and colours (fig. 3.3.3) [2].
