Description
The T50N is a normal (slow) silicon thyristor of 50 A, one of the thyristors IPRS Băneasa was making in December 1978 (T1A, T3N, T10N, T16N, T22N, T50N, T200N), according to its production programme for 1979–1985 [1]. The 50 A and 200 A thyristors, in metal-ceramic cases made under the AEG licence, used pressure contacts instead of hard solder in sealed cases filled with inert gas [1].
