Description

The PROCESSOR KIT 15000 is a programmable controller module of IPRS Băneasa, recommended for applications with a large number (tens, hundreds) of inputs and outputs [1].

The I.P.R.S. Băneasa Full Line Condensed Catalog (1990) lists it as preliminary data [1]. Such a programmable controller contains one PROCESSOR KIT 15000 module and several (at most 63) extension modules, the EXTENSION KIT 15000, all connected in parallel on the instruction/address bus [1]. It has 16 TTL inputs and 16 TTL latched outputs, 6 analog timers with variable timing, a 1024 I/O and timer address field, a program length of at most 4096 instructions, a 1k × 1 data RAM with stand-by supply, simultaneous store to outputs and RAM instructions, a 2k × 8 or (for the maximum capacity) 4k × 8 EPROM program memory and 4 jump instructions (JMP, JZ – if RR = 0 –, CALL, RTN, with subroutines nested on 2 levels), with a typical current consumption of 500 mA at +5 V DC, in a 10 × 16 cm² Eurocard format [1].

The processor kits of IPRS-Băneasa have the standard Eurocard format (10 × 16 cm²) and a 3 × 32 pin connector according to DIN 41612; their architecture follows that of a programmable controller built with the 14000 series, around the βP14500, with the whole data logic control and the program memory [1].
