Description

The F-3140 is a small military telegraph multiplex unit forming one telegraph channel, made by Electromagnetica in Bucharest [1]. The first telegraph multiplex equipment used by the Romanian army had been imported; the F-3140 and F-3170, designed by ICSITA, opened Romanian production [1].

Working together, the F-3140 and F-3170 formed two telegraph channels in one telephone channel while keeping the telephone link [3]. With the F-3090 multiplex system it gave a telegraph channel in a 200 Hz band [2].
