Description

The TV monitor 400 513.00 is a 44 cm monitor for closed-circuit TV systems, made by Tehnoton in Iași [1].

The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) describes the „Monitor TV 44 cm (cod 400 513.00)” among the closed-circuit television elements made by Tehnoton in Iași, for receiving and displaying the pictures sent by cable from TV cameras, video recorders and the like; its values are in the specifications [1]. The supply frequency tolerance is printed as „+12 Hz” over „−2 Hz” [1].

The beam of the picture tube is cut off when there is no video input, and the input coaxial cable can be up to 100 m long without a corrector [1].

The accessories are a power relay with an auxiliary transformer (C72145–A40–B116), for switching the set on remotely without an extra auxiliary voltage; a coaxial cable corrector (C72145–A40–B260), correcting the phase and frequency distortion of long cables; and a control desk (power on/off, choice of the working mode, brightness and contrast) [1]. The same chapter describes the TV camera 400482 [1]. The 1st edition of the Agenda (1983) gives the same description [2].
