V 561

The V 561 is a portable digital multimeter with a liquid-crystal display, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1].

The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) lists the „V 561” („Multimetru portabil”, portable multimeter) among the digital voltmeters and multimeters of the E-03 group made by IEMI; the notes to its entry give a 3½-digit liquid-crystal display [1]. Its table gives DC voltages of 10⁻⁴…10³ V (±0.5 % of reading), AC voltages of 10⁻⁴…750 V (±1 % of reading) at 40…450 Hz, currents of 10⁻⁷…10 A, resistances of 10⁻¹ Ω…2 MΩ, an input resistance of 10 MΩ, a 9 V DC supply, a consumption of < 5 mA, 18 × 9 × 45 cm (height × width × depth) and at most 0.5 kg [1]. In the table, „ct” means reading („citire”) and „c.s.” full scale („cap de scară”) [1].
