Description
The NIM 1092 is a linear ratemeter in the NIM standard, designed by the nuclear electronics team of IFA at Măgurele and made at FAN [1]. The incoming pulses are shaped in length and amplitude and fed to a current generator and a linear integrator; the resulting voltage, proportional to the counting rate, is shown on a meter, which also gives the error in percent, and a BNC socket allows the rate to be recorded on a chart recorder [1].
