Description
The MR 3DR is a radar for the Romanian Air Force, for detecting and tracking targets in the fire zone of surface-to-air missile batteries, built by Defense Engineering with Belgian Advanced Technology Systems (BATS) in 2014–2017 [1]. Defense Engineering designed and made the radar trailer, the communications system and the remote control station, connected it to the fire distribution centre and to the national air command and control system (SCCAN), and managed the Romanian suppliers [1]. The book shows it deployed in the ISTRIA 2018 exercise [1].
