Description
The PCI-20 B is an interphone central station for offices, for two-way links with 20 subscribers, made by IEI in Bucharest [1]. It works with PAI-01 subscriber stations, which talk directly to the central station and to the other subscribers through it; links are semi-duplex, central stations can also be linked with each other, and the central station gives a busy tone and detects a subscriber calling during another conversation [2]. The stations need four wires (two for the line, two for the supply), can be up to 5 km apart and have built-in microphones and loudspeakers, with sound and light calling [2].
