Description

The CC 30.00 is a series of type I multilayer ceramic „chip” capacitors – a parallelepiped block with two soldering bands to which leads can be attached – for general-purpose and professional circuits, including hybrid circuits and microcircuits [1]. The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) lists five package codes, CC 30.02 to CC 30.06, from 3.3 pF to 10 nF, at 50, 100 and 200 V DC [1]. The table gives for each package code the smallest capacitance (in pF) and the largest (in nF) at 50, 100 and 200 V; the page lists one row per code and voltage [1].

The Agenda does not say which works made the series: for the whole section on capacitors made in Romania it lists IPEE Electroargeș of Curtea de Argeș, Tehnoton of Iași, IIS Electronica of Bucharest and IPRS Băneasa as producers, and the 1st edition (1983) names only the first three [3][4]. It is listed here as made by IPRS Băneasa; Un secol de electronică în România says that the ceramic capacitor line of IPRS passed to IPEE Curtea de Argeș in 1973 [5].

Coded as [3]:

Part Meaning
CC multilayer „chip” capacitor, type I
30 technological family („familia tehnologică”)
02…06 package code („codul capsulei”)

The 1st edition (1983) gives the largest capacitances in µF, with other values, has a smaller code, CC 30.01, other widths for CC 30.03, 30.05 and 30.06 and the tolerance ±1 % in addition [2]. The heading reads „Condensatoare ceramic multistrat” in both editions [1][2].

Rated voltages are DC („Vcc”). Dimensions in mm (fig. 20.57): length L ± 0.5, width l ± 0.5 and maximum height Hmax from the table; the soldering bands are B = 0.51 (CC 30.02) or 0.76 mm (± 0.25) long [1].
