Description
The CTF 2000 is a series of tubular ceramic trimmer capacitors for high frequency, rated 250 V DC, for radio-frequency circuits up to 250 MHz, with an adjustment precision of 0.05 pF [1]. The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) lists four codes, CTF 2001 H to CTF 2004 U, from 0.5…3 pF to 3…15 pF, with their temperature coefficient, number of turns and length; the 1st edition (1983) calls the series CTF 2000 H [1][2].
The Agenda does not say which works made the series: for the whole section on capacitors made in Romania it lists IPEE Electroargeș of Curtea de Argeș, Tehnoton of Iași, IIS Electronica of Bucharest and IPRS Băneasa as producers, and the 1st edition (1983) names only the first three [3][4]. It is listed here as made by IPRS Băneasa; Un secol de electronică în România says that the ceramic capacitor line of IPRS passed to IPEE Curtea de Argeș in 1973 [5].
In the book’s list of codes CTF(H) stands for tubular ceramic trimmer capacitors for high frequency; it explains the digits only with the example CT 10.11 [3].
In the 1st edition the fourth code is CTF 2004 H with +100 ± 400·10⁻⁶/°C, in the 2nd CTF 2004 U with +100 ± 100·10⁻⁶/°C [2][1]. Both editions print the climatic category as 25/081/21 [1][2].
Rated voltages are DC („Vcc”). Dimensions in mm (fig. 20.67): length L ± 0.5 from the table, A = 14 ± 1, body Ø 8 and 5.6, screw Ø 3 [1].
