Description

The CTF 2005 H is a tubular ceramic trimmer capacitor, adjustable from 1 to 9 pF, rated 400 V, for radio-frequency circuits [1]. The Agenda radioelectronistului (2nd edition, 1989) gives no table for it, only its characteristics; the 1st edition (1983) has the same data [1][2].

The Agenda does not say which works made the series: for the whole section on capacitors made in Romania it lists IPEE Electroargeș of Curtea de Argeș, Tehnoton of Iași, IIS Electronica of Bucharest and IPRS Băneasa as producers, and the 1st edition (1983) names only the first three [3][4]. It is listed here as made by IPRS Băneasa; Un secol de electronică în România says that the ceramic capacitor line of IPRS passed to IPEE Curtea de Argeș in 1973 [5].

In the book’s list of codes CTF(H) stands for tubular ceramic trimmer capacitors for high frequency [3].

Both editions print the rated voltage as „400 V”, without saying DC, and the dissipation factor without its frequency [1][2].

Dimensions in mm (fig. 20.68): ≤ 13 from the end to the flange and ≤ 22 from the flange to the other end; Ø 6, ≤ Ø 4.4 and ≤ Ø 6.5 [1].
