Description
The 6DRR-P is a fast silicon rectifier diode; in December 1978 the BA types and the 6DRR-P were the only fast rectifier diodes IPRS Băneasa made [1]. The first BA diodes had been obtained by gold diffusion, which lowers the reverse recovery time; IPRS then developed the bombardment of the structures with nuclear particles, patented in 1979 as a process for fast devices by irradiation [1].
