Description

The SMG-01X is a microwave amplitude modulator, made in the microproduction workshop of the ICE research institute in Bucharest, where it was designed [1].

ICE’s microwave laboratory (1979–1990) began with a METEOSAT weather-satellite ground station exported to North Korea, and developed microwave components made in ICE’s microproduction workshop [1].
