Description
The SPX-09 is a high-power microwave matched load, used as a dummy antenna for power transmitters, made in the microproduction workshop of the ICE research institute in Bucharest, where it was designed [1].
ICE’s microwave laboratory (1979–1990) began with a METEOSAT weather-satellite ground station exported to North Korea, and developed microwave components made in ICE’s microproduction workshop [1].
Its prospectus describes a high-power matched load, used as a dummy antenna for power transmitters; its magnetic absorbers have a high Curie temperature [2].
