Description

The 1440 is a high-speed printer made by Rom Control Data [1]. Most of RCD’s products were made with technology transferred from its American parent, Control Data Corporation (CDC); some went to ICE Felix, but most were exported, to ICL (England), Nixdorf, CII (France), KOVO (Czechoslovakia), Robotron (East Germany), Porpal (Portugal), Roswill (Sweden) and CDC itself [1].
