Description
The SCAMP 9336 is a dot-matrix printer of the SCAMP series (SCAMP 9335, SCAMP 9336, SCAMP 9338) made by Rom Control Data [1]. RCD’s own technical team modernised the SCAMP printers, making them smaller and improving their performance [1]. Most of RCD’s products were made with technology transferred from its American parent, Control Data Corporation (CDC); some went to ICE Felix, but most were exported, to ICL (England), Nixdorf, CII (France), KOVO (Czechoslovakia), Robotron (East Germany), Porpal (Portugal), Roswill (Sweden) and CDC itself [1].
