Description

The Atlantic is an AM-FM transistor table radio made by Electronica in Bucharest, with a circuit similar to the Select 2 and the Mercure [1]. It was put into production in 1973, together with the Pacific, for the domestic market [1].

Tehnoton in Iași also made it in 1975–1978 [2]. It was exported to Senegal in 1974; to Hungary in 1976 [2].

In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output and a 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz (AM) or ±300 kHz (FM) away, and output power at no more than 10% distortion [1].
