Description
The Delta S 627 T is a transistor table radio for long, medium and short waves, put into production by Electronica in 1963 [1]. Its self-oscillating RF stage used the EFT317, the first EFT drift (alloy-diffused) transistor, suitable for the 10.7 MHz FM intermediate frequency and for short waves up to 20 MHz [1]. It was the first Romanian receiver presented in a plastic cabinet, injection-moulded at the works, which was then a technological novelty [1].
The text gives 0.5 W output, the annex 400 mW [1]. A mains version in a wooden cabinet was the Dunărea S 662 TA [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz away, and output power at 10% distortion [1].
