Description
The Electronica S 631 T is a small portable transistor radio for long and medium waves made by Electronica in Bucharest [1]. The text says that a pocket radio with six transistors and a miniature Ticonal loudspeaker was made in two versions with kits from the Japanese firm Matsushita, and lists the S 632 T and S 631 T among the sets launched in the same period; about 300,000 pocket radios were made in 1960–1965 [1]. For the S 631 T the text gives 150 mW output, a 6 V supply (4 × 1.5 V R12 cells), 270 g and 142 × 88 × 40 mm; the annex gives 100 mW [1]. A similar set was the Zefir S 631 TN2 [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz away, and output power at 10% distortion [1].
