Description
The Istria S 661 A is a mains-powered AM-FM tube radio receiver made by Electronica in Bucharest in the second half of the 1960s [1]. It is built with conventional wiring, except for the FM block, which is on a printed circuit [1]. Electronica made tube radios until 1969, when they were completely replaced by transistor sets [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 0.5 W output, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz (AM) or ±300 kHz (FM) away, the audio response within 6 dB, and output power at no more than 10% distortion [1].
