Description
The Maestro S 702 TS is a high-class stereo AM-FM transistor table radio made by Electronica in Bucharest from 1971 [1]. Its development took three years, in a project led by Eduard Evanovici, and with it the works reached an internationally competitive level [1]. It received long, medium and two short-wave bands, the 49 m band and FM in stereo, had facilities for recording on tape recorders, and drove two 6 W loudspeakers [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output and a 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz (AM) or ±300 kHz (FM) away, and output power at no more than 10% distortion [1].
