Description
The Traviata 1 S 692 A is an AM-FM tube radiogram with a built-in four-speed record player, made by Electronica in Bucharest, with the same circuit as the Eforie S 692 A and the Traviata 3 [1].
The Eforie family (types 1–4) took a further step in reducing metal and assembly work: the plastic dial backing and the waveband switch were mounted directly on the receiver’s single circuit board [1]. The Traviata, a plain receiver and a radiogram built on the same chassis, was the last tube radio made at Electronica, in 1969 [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 0.5 W output, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz (AM) or ±300 kHz (FM) away, the audio response within 6 dB, and output power at no more than 10% distortion [1].
