Description
The E0601 S-1 is a printer for the IEC 625 instrument bus, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. It belongs to the E0601 family; it is in IEMI’s 1988 range [1].
Annex III.2.10 calls it the E 0601 S-2 (also written E 601-S-2), while chapter III of the book calls it E 0601 S-1. It printed measurement results and messages on paper tape in automatic measuring systems with a parallel output, through an IEC 625 adapter connected by a cable and housed in a METROSET case; using it with a general-purpose instrument required changing the program in the adapter’s EPROM. The N 2324 printer of the N2300 strain gauge system had similar characteristics but different interfaces [2].
