Description
The E0601 S is an IEC bus adapter, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. Controlled by a microprocessor, it carried out the data conversions in the code and format recommended by the IEC 625 standard and gave an instrument with 48 parallel input and output lines, or with remote-control inputs, the functions of listener and talker, making it compatible with automatic systems built around the IEC 625 bus [1]. It could be set as a talker, passing the instrument’s data to the E0601 bus coupler, as a listener taking data or commands from the coupler, or both, with 31 selectable addresses [1].
