Description
The NIM 1112 is a spectroscopy amplifier (type 1112) in the NIM standard, designed by the nuclear electronics team of IFA at Măgurele and made at FAN [1]. It accepts signals from semiconductor and other detectors and shapes the pulses from the NIM 1141 preamplifier into a Gaussian form for amplitude analysis; unlike the NIM 1113 it also has a fast pulse output [1]. It was used for alpha spectrometry with silicon detectors, gamma spectrometry with Ge(Li) detectors, X-ray spectrometry with Si(Li) detectors and proportional counters, and gamma spectrometry with scintillators [1].
