Description

The AD 111 M is a portable radiometer-roentgenometer for measuring gamma radiation and the contamination of ground and liquids, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. Pulses from its Geiger-Müller counter are shaped, integrated and shown on a meter, with an acoustic signal on the middle ranges [1].

IEMI’s table of special production lists the RH 186, coded AD111, with 4,470 units made in 1971–1985; section V.3 says the AD 111 was offered for export [2][3].
