Description
The AD 3 is an on-board roentgenometer for measuring gamma radiation over contaminated ground, in the direction of travel of a vehicle, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. It comprised the instrument, a detection probe with an ionisation chamber whose current was amplified by a pentode in electrometer mode, a cable and a shock-absorbing mount [1].
