Description
The DET-2P is a portable dosimeter for vehicles, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. It measures X and gamma radiation doses, works out the exposure against safety limits and warns acoustically when dangerous thresholds are exceeded [1]. It can correct the readings for vehicle conditions or flight altitude and send its data by radiotelephone; it has an external probe on a 150 m cable, and a two-probe version for naval use [1].
