Description
The N2102 is a portable electronic vibration meter, made by IEMI in Bucharest [1]. IEMI’s production table lists 128 units made in 1971–1976 [1].
Annex III.2.11 says it measured and displayed the amplitude and the velocity of vibration and could be connected to an oscilloscope to view their waveforms. Its electrodynamic transducer with a feeler gave a voltage proportional to the vibration velocity, over 10–1000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 200 mV·s/cm; the feeler could travel ±1.5 mm, its moving part weighed 15 g and the whole transducer 0.82 kg [2].
