Description

The Minier 502 is a power converter for the MINER 100 mine radio, made in the microproduction workshop of the ICE research institute in Bucharest, where it was designed [1]. It gives a portable DC supply and is fixed on top of a Ni-Cd battery [1]. The prospectus heading calls it Minier 505 and gives the voltage as 123 V, probably a misprint, while ICE’s list names a ‘Minier 500’ [1][2].
