Description
The INSTM 18 is a digital moving-target selection unit for radar stations, made by IEI in Bucharest [1]. It removed the echoes of fixed targets and asynchronous jamming from the radar receiver, processing the signal in an amplitude channel (synchronism) and a phase channel (Doppler filtering) and passing only the signals that met both conditions [1].
