Variable capacitor 2 × 323.8 pF

The 2 × 323.8 pF variable capacitor is a dual tuning capacitor for radio receivers made by Electronica in Bucharest, with a cast Elektron-alloy frame, dichromated and lacquered with synthetic resins to withstand tropical conditions [1]. Variable capacitors were first made at Radio Popular and their technology was improved over the years; the works also made capacitors with unequal sections and trimmers [1].

Both sections (input and oscillator): capacitance swing 323.8 pF, residual capacitance under 11 pF, initial alignment 60 pF, tracking tolerance ±0.4% (input) and ±0.9% (oscillator), plate spacing 0.20 mm, plate thickness 0.4 mm [1].
