Description
The NUMEROM is a family of numerical control equipment for machine tools, made at FEA for about 20 years from the mid-1970s, in cooperation with the automation institute IPA, whose first NUMEROM equipment dates from 1971–1975 [1]. It ranged from position displays to CNC equipment for lathes of all kinds, milling, drilling and electrical-discharge machines and machining centres [1]. In the 1980s FEA made it in parallel with the ECAROM 800 process computers; after 1990 the decline of the machine-tool industry ended its production [1].
