Description

The Nordic 2 is a transistor table radio made by Electronica in Bucharest, a mechanically improved version of the first Nordic (Nordic S 652 TA) [1]. It has continuous tone control, automatic frequency control on FM, and separate coarse and fine tuning [1]. The book notes that the Nordic table sets broadened the range of AM-FM transistor radios and were also exported successfully [1].

In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output and a 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz (AM) or ±300 kHz (FM) away, and output power at no more than 10% distortion [1].
