Description
The Turist S 615 T is a portable transistor radio receiver made by Electronica in Bucharest [1]. It has a similar circuit and characteristics to the Sport S 605 T and the Miorița T4 S 641 T [1]. Unlike the Sport, which uses French S-type transistors, it uses Romanian E-type transistors with otherwise identical designations [1]. Designed by the works’ transistor design group, it was one of the first transistor portables with Romanian E transistors, and became a large-series product: about 600,000 were made in six years, 1961–1966 [1].
In the source table, sensitivity is given on medium waves for 50 mW output, selectivity for a signal ±9 kHz away, and output power at 10% distortion [1].
